Jobscan
FreemiumATS optimization engine that scores your resume and LinkedIn profile against real job descriptions using recruiter-grade algorithms.
What is Jobscan?
Jobscan is the best-known ATS optimisation tool, founded in Seattle in 2014, and its depth of keyword and skills-gap analysis against a specific posting is widely regarded as the category benchmark. You paste a resume and a job description, and it returns a match rate with the terms you are missing, plus LinkedIn profile optimisation, a resume builder and application tracking on paid plans. The constraint is volume against price. The free plan allows five scans a month, which fills up in the first week of an active search, and Premium is reported around $49.95 monthly or roughly $29.98 when billed quarterly. That makes it excellent value if you tailor more than five applications monthly and use the full suite, and poor value for occasional use. Several competitors now offer far more generous free scanning, so compare before subscribing.
