What is Rows?

Rows was a spreadsheet built for people who wanted live business data rather than static exports. It connected directly to ad platforms, analytics tools, databases and APIs, extracted tables from PDFs and images, and included an AI Analyst that answered plain-language questions about the data in the sheet. Over nine years it served more than 2.2 million users, who ran over 17 billion spreadsheet functions and around 800,000 AI Analyst prompts. It is no longer available. Superhuman, the AI productivity company formerly named Grammarly, agreed to acquire Rows in February 2026, and the standalone product was wound down over three months with rows.com shutting fully on 31 May 2026. The Berlin and Porto team joined Superhuman, where the data integration and AI analysis work now strengthens its documents product. Anyone searching for Rows today needs a migration path rather than a signup link.
