Calendly
FreemiumScheduling automation tool that eliminates back-and-forth emails for interviews and meetings.
What is Calendly?
Calendly removes the back-and-forth from interview scheduling: candidates pick a slot from a link, calendars sync to prevent double-booking, and reminders reduce no-shows. For recruiting specifically, the features that matter sit on the Teams tier: round-robin distribution across interviewers, collective scheduling that checks a whole panel's availability at once, and bidirectional Salesforce sync. It connects to major ATS platforms and video tools including Zoom, Meet and Teams. Know where the tier boundaries fall before you build a workflow on it. The free plan allows one active event type and one calendar connection, which will not cover screening calls and panel interviews simultaneously. Standard runs $10 per seat monthly billed annually and Teams $16, both roughly 20 percent higher on monthly billing, and Enterprise starts around $15,000 a year. Every interviewer who needs their own availability managed is a separate seat.

How to Use Calendly
✅ Best For
- Recruiters and hiring managers who want to eliminate the back-and-forth emails involved in finding a mutual interview time.
- Small and mid-sized teams that need lightweight scheduling automation without investing in a dedicated interview-coordination platform.
❌ Not For
- Recruiting teams running complex multi-interviewer panel loops with skill-based interviewer assignment, where a dedicated tool like ModernLoop fits better.
- Companies wanting scheduling tightly built into an ATS workflow rather than a standalone link-based tool.
