Tactiq

Tactiq is a lightweight Chrome extension that captures live transcripts inside Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams without a bot joining, without a separate desktop app and without storing a recording on third-party servers, which suits people whose main objection to notetakers is the visible participant. It produces AI summaries and action items, supports transcripts in more than sixty languages, and pushes one-click workflows into Slack, Google Docs and HubSpot. AI credits, not transcripts, are what the plans actually meter. The free tier gives roughly ten transcripts and five AI credits a month, with paid plans from around $8 per seat unlocking unlimited transcription and a larger credit allowance, rising through team and business tiers with admin controls. The trade-off for the lightweight approach is browser dependency: it works where Chrome does, so in-person meetings and native desktop clients are outside its reach.
